GitHub Actions, ViteJS, DevOps Exercises and about SRECon21

Dev Shorts
Hello
Welcome to my musings!
Please feel free to share, forward this newsletter to your friends, or post on Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp.

I spoke at more than four developer events this week, it was a roller-coaster week for me, but quite exciting. I could also see the developers getting fatigued by all these events even though they register, they might not attend all of them or ask questions like usual times!
What I read this week?
Quite a few devs assume that others know about the tech that they are talking about especially with new frameworks it gets more difficult. But, here is an article about Github Actions that explains things quite nicely.
Deploying with GitHub Actions
Everyone talks about strategy and planning. Very few talk about execution or how it worked for them to reach from X to Y. I’ve always fantasised about how YouTube built it’s audience, perhaps the first Creator platform! Here is a doc from Shishir, CEO of Coda.io and ex-VP of product management at Youtube.
Rituals for hypergrowth: An inside look at how YouTube scaled
Open source Projects
I came across another OSS frontend framework called vite, which looks like (or competing with) Svelte!
vitejs/vite: Next-generation frontend tooling. It's fast!
DevOps and looking to learn buzzwords tools, faq’s, exercises. I found this repository, informatory tbh!
